IOTA (MIOTA) and Komodo (KMD) can be purchased by paying with cash at several Austrian Post office branches now. This news was tweeted by Austrian based cryptocurrency exchange, Bitpanda. The digital asset exchange platform explained in its tweet that this service will be available in over 400 post offices. The cryptocurrency company has been working hard at increasing their collaborations. The Tangle technology by IOTA is being used by Taipei to power digital ID cards.
This particular move by Taiwan’s capital city is in a bid to become a Blockchain-driven smart city like Dubai. The 9thlargest cryptocurrency in the world had partnered with Taipei at the start of the year. Together they would explore distributed ledger technology based smart-city solutions.
The exchange informs investors that all that is needed to purchase the digital currencies at the post offices is an email address. The purchased coins will land in the users’ wallets directly according to Bitpanda.
