FabCI is funded by some of the leading investors which includes the MeitY, technology partners Cadence Design Systems, Inc. and Mentor Graphics out of which both of them are leading providers of Electronic Design Automation (EDA) software, hardware and IP products in the industry.
The goal is to incubate at least 100 ‘Make-in-India’ chip design companies which can also compete across the globe and generate some of the Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs).
