Nair, who hails from Neyyattinkara
here, had founded Exseed Space along with Ashhar Farhan last year. “We are ecstatic and humbled to share that last night, Exseed Space became the first Indian private company to have a satellite in space,” Nair said in an email interview.
Typically it takes years and millions of dollars to put together one satellite. We have now demonstrated that it is possible to build reliable commercial-grade spacecraft in a matter of months without spending a lot of money,” Nair said in an email interview.
He, however, refused to divulge the expense, saying it was way below what their peer companies
incurred.
