The flagship of Finnish startup scene, Slush, is the largest venturing event in Europe. The very core of this unique event taking place in Helsinki is to facilitate founder and investor meetings and to build a world-wide startup community. In 2018, Slush gathered 20,000 attendees, with over 3,100 startups, 1,800 investors and 650 journalists coming in from over 130 countries.

DPIIT shall setup a Startup India Pavilion at Slush 2019. The pavilion will be used to showcase participating Indian startups, host meetings and conduct small sessions with Investors and Corporates for the benefit of startups.

Startups must abide to the following eligibility criteria:
a) The applicant should be recognized by DPIIT as a Startup
b) Nominated member should have a valid passport

Also, Startups fulfilling one of the following are eligible*:

a.  Must have received at least one round of funding from investors (including angel funding if solid business model has been established);
b.  Letter of funding by Government of India or any State Government as part of any specified scheme to promote innovation;
c.  Must be incubated at an incubator since at least 3 months
d.  Must have generated revenue in past 12 months
