These are steps to my future self, when I would get back to designing a board after a long gap. There are very good checklists and some quite exhaustive ones to help you check every tiny bits. Some designs still do slip through these, sucking up a lot of time! So let’s focus 5 fundamental things that will likely help you design and prototype better so that you save valuable time. The goal is to come up with metal checklist of things that you could repeatedly go over while you’re actually working on the design.
