In order to bridge the skill gap for the product community, in Dec 2017 NASSCOM Product Council initiated a program to provide learning opportunities for the professionals as well as for the students aspiring to build a promising career in the product world.
NASSCOM Product Skill Development Program endeavours to partner with industry experts to build a network of evangelists who drive the innovation agenda across the IT product ecosystem and thrive to engage on latest and futuristic technologies.
We organise offline & online engagements in the form of webinars, virtual panel discussions & workshops on host of product topics.
· We began in Dec 2017 and the first Product Management Series was successfully completed with 22 episodes including topics like product thinking, product vision, product market fit, user experience, innovation, so on & so forth.
· Data science series – I had 10 episodes covering foundation topics then deep dived into verticals like BFSI, Health, visualisation, ethics.
· GTM series began in April 2019 and so far, has covered 9 interesting sessions focusing on value sales, social sales, inbound marketing, scaling B2B lead generation.
· Product Management Series-II began in Dec 2018, running successfully and has covered 20 episodes with a focus of Product Management in the age of digital transformation.
· RPA is another topic that is gaining a lot of traction and we have recently begun episodes focusing on this emerging technology.
· Other ad hoc webinars on business topics included – How to Build A Global Technology Company, Building & Scaling Deep Tech startups in UK.
Recently we have collaborated internally with NASSCOM futureskills- http://futureskills.nasscom.in/ and have created a Product Channel on the FS platform where the consolidated content from the past webinars have been uploaded for the audience to access the highly curated products sessions
