NB-IoT Also known as LTE-M2 or NB-IoT, Narrowband-IoT is classified as an LPWAN technology that does not function in licensed LTE build-up. NB-IoT works in way that dormant 200-kHz bands used previously for Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) or Gathers a resource block to NB-IoT operations or even in their guard bands on LTE stations.
Benefits of NB-IoT
Qualcomm, Huawei, and Ericsson have interest in NB-IoT because of the following benefits:
1.Cost-effective: NB-IoT has a simpler waveform that just needs less power.
2.Efficient in Powering: You can rely on NB-IoT when it comes to providing efficient power.
3.Broader reach: NB-IoT has lower link budgets and bitrates, compared to LTE-MI.
4.Vast worldwide access: There are numerous companies that invest in LTE networks.
5.Reliable: There is enhanced reliability for the users of NB-IoT.
