Thuraya Telecommunications Company has just announced the launch of its Thuraya Tracking and Monitoring (T2M) service in conjunction with the launch of the first product release of the year, the T2M-Dual terminal.
The mobile device is designed for superior machine-to-machine (M2M) communications and remote asset tracking and monitoring. The T2M-Dual allows for simultaneous collection of data from multiple points which includes location information, data from external sensors and peripheral devices, and in as well input gathered from vehicles or heavy equipment CANBus.
Moreover, the T2M-Dual’s robust system is considered a top-class solution for projects in various sectors like transportation, logistics, energy, utilities, agriculture, and mining. The solution offers an unprecedented ease to integrate applications that are complex to manage and monitor, such as fuel consumption and vehicle tracking. In addition, it allows the integration of any third-party applications and has several built-in smart features which include geo-fencing, network selection, internal battery backup, location and more.
Rashid Baba, Chief commercial officer at Thuraya said: “Industries and businesses are constantly looking for solutions that give them a competitive advantage with lower risks, higher automation, and cost-saving potential.”
