Smart India Hackathon is a nationwide initiative to provide students a platform to solve some of the pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mindset of problem-solving. It is being organized since 2017 every year by MHRD.
Every year 2 Lakh+ students, that is 35,000 teams participate. In total 37,000+ ideas are submitted. Out of which only 1300+ teams go for the grand finale, which means 0.037 probability of selection . It sums up as approximately 4 students out of 100 are selected. Not done yet, after reaching the grand finale, only 1 team in the particular problem statement secures the national winner position.
Now, the question arises, What to do exactly to reach the grand finale of SIH?
This session will give a complete reference of what it actually takes you to reach the SIH Grand Finale. What should you write in the proposal? How to structure and organize your content?
